The Sports Hour

with your host: MATT THE STAT

ABOUT
MATT

I got my moniker "Matt the Stat" from a high school teacher who told me I have a "Sports Memory." I'm told I have a unique gift due to my extensive knowledge of players, the history of clubs, the ability to memorize players' positions, jersey names, numbers, stats, personal stories, and trivia.

TESTIMONIALS

You have not come across anything like Matt Riddle, to date. He IS an endless database of sports facts and dates and for multiple semesters on the CLU campus station, "Matt the Stat" left little doubt. His voice, rhythm, confident knowledge, and relationship with the listener are worth listening to. I've also found a great deal of emotion associated with the sport and player being discussed comes across in his passion for sports journalism and broadcast. Solo or in a discussion his contribution to a sports conversation is truly remarkable. If you get him in a studio, the mild-mannered gentleman you will meet at first, will blow your socks off with his power and ability to carry and contribute to a broadcast.
